The Faulty Towers Dining Experience Review

DINNER IS SERVED… WITH A SIDE OF ABSOLUTE CHAOS

If you’re looking for a night of pure unfiltered fun, The Faulty Towers Dining Experience delivers in spades. It’s chaotic, but in the best way! Set in the President Hotel in Bloomsbury, the show brings Basil, Sybil, and Manuel to life in the most gloriously unhinged way. From the moment you arrive, you’re not just an audience member, you’re part of the mayhem.

The three-course meal is solid. Comforting, classic, and clearly designed for fast, efficient service without sacrificing flavour. The butternut squash soup was warm and hearty, and the chicken roast was satisfying. I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved the dessert though! I’m not usually a cheesecake girlie, but their white chocolate and raspberry one may have me converted.

But the real star of the show here is the atmosphere. Every table got their moment, whether it was a birthday shoutout, a roasting, or being pulled into some wild improvisation. And yet, it never felt too much, it was all done with a wink, a nudge, and impeccable timing. It never felt forced or cringy, just a natural progression of the night.

The actors are seriously good at what they do. They would seamlessly bounce between the script and spontaneous madness, nothing throwing them off. One minute they’re climbing on tables, the next they’re throwing in jokes tailored to an unsuspecting diner’s comment. It’s clear they are not just performers, they are top-tier improv pros! I can’t think of the last time I laughed so much, the cheek-o-meter was off the charts!

I’ve never seen the original Fawlty Towers tv show, but that didn’t matter for a second. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or walking in fresh, the comedy, chaos, and character work are enough to win anyone over. Is it refined? No. Is it absolutely hilarious and a damn good time? 100%. The Faulty Towers Dining Experience doesn’t just serve dinner. It dishes out chaos, character, and charm by the plateful. Pack your sense of humour… and maybe a napkin for the inevitable laughter tears.
