WHAT WE ORDERED

The beauty of this brunch is that you don’t have to limit yourself to one dish. You start with two at a time, and once you’re around three quarters through, you can order your next round. I started with the Flat Iron Steak (£5 supplement but so worth it), topped with garlic butter and served with chips. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour, I was one happy lady with my choice! Alongside that, I had a portion of crispy and well-seasoned Calamari.

Elaine started with the Full English Breakfast and a Sausage Roll, and Ange went Full English and calamari. The calamari was so good that I ended up having three portions and Ange had two. We were raving about it so much that Elaine couldn’t help but get a plate too. And get this, they have dessert options too! I couldn’t resist the Chocolate Fondant with ice cream, which was pure indulgence. And the girls went for Churros with a hazelnut chocolate sauce.Sliced steak, three hash browns, two eggs, and a small bunch of tomatoes on a blue speckled plate at Smith's Bar & Grill

DRINKS DRINKS DRINKS

With bottomless options including white wine, red wine, sparkling wine, and cocktail of the week, there’s no shortage of choices to keep your glass full. No surprises here, I went for Prosecco, and Ange was right there with me. It was crisp, refreshing, and generously topped up throughout. Elaine went for white wine, a great pairing for her meal and another brunch classic. When they said bottomless drinks, they meant it. The service was quick, attentive, and they made sure our glasses were never empty for long.

BRUNCH WITH A BEAT

One of the standout features of Smith’s Bar & Grill bottomless brunch is the addition of live entertainment. They have a live DJ from 12PM, and live saxophonist from 1PM to 4PM. It brings an upbeat, feel-good atmosphere that turns a standard brunch into a proper event. The mix of house beats and live sax gives a lively, buzzing vibe without being overwhelming. It was just the right level to keep the energy up without drowning out conversations.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Smith’s Bar & Grill delivers a bottomless brunch that is well worth the price. With a generous menu, quality food, and a double bottomless offer, you’re getting real value for your money. The brunch plates were well portioned, well cooked, and very satisfying. Add in the lively atmosphere, great service, and live entertainment, it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back for more. And honestly? I’m already rounding up the gang for a return visit.
