Brunch With The Boys Review – Camden Fest
BRUNCH WITH THE BOYS
A review by Tanya Howard
Camden has a new unmissable offering at FEST Camden called Brunch With The Boys, the UK’s first male strip show bottomless brunch. Hosted by a comedic drag queen, you are treated to an array of raunchy performances but with some show stopping additions such as fire breathing, circus tricks and more.
You receive an hour of bottomless prosecco from midday to 1pm, followed by the show where they have quite a unique food offering; filled bagels. You get a maximum of two filled bagels from the three options of Eggs Benedict, Salmon and Cream Cheese and Smashed Avocado, Guacamole and Bacon.
The show runs from 2pm to 6pm and audience involvement is a key ingredient throughout, including a sexy dance off between the bar staff and the boys of the audience. For those who are interested chest stroking is avidly encouraged.
The party begins with the drag queen, who unfortunately due to the bottomless prosecco I missed the name of, performing Get This Party Started before introducing the first act.
The music was on point all evening with the first strip being done to Jamiroqui’s Deeper Underground and a later strip was performed to Like A Prayer, with the whole audience switching between screaming for more and singing at the top of their lungs.
It was a really fun day and once the show ended there was an after party for about an hour with the strippers joining everyone on the dancefloor to some classic 80s and 90s pop songs.
If like me you are a fan of cheesy music, good food (if not a little random for a bottomless brunch) and a cheeky little strip show on a Sunday, I would definitely recommend this for a girl’s day out or even a big event like a birthday party or hen do.
Brunch With The Boys takes place fortnightly on Sundays, with the next show on Sunday 28th April, and tickets start at £35.
