A GREAT NIGHT WITH A FANTASTIC AND ENERGETIC CROWD, WHO TRULY ADMIRED AND APPRECIATED MOLLY

A night of Western pop and Bollywood, with TikTok sensation Molly Gupta, in Notting Hill’s own historic Tabernacle.

SLAY DIVA

Previously a Consultant Paediatrician, Molly decided to make her own ‘dream come true’ and began an exciting career in music.

We had the great pleasure of seeing Molly perform on Saturday the 11th of April 2026. My friend had enjoyed seeing her on TikTok and thought it would be a great Saturday night. And a great Saturday night was had.

Molly’s hits included:

• Lana Del Ray, Summertime Sadness – A good song to start with, although the audience wasn’t totally warmed up, we all could enjoy one of Lana Del Ray’s most popular songs
• Shreya Ghoshal, Saiyaara – One of Molly’s first Bollywood pieces of the night, a beautiful melody and excellently sung by Molly
• Adele, Love in the Dark – Unbelievable to hear live in the same room where Adele sang Set Fire to the Rain for the first time in 2011
• RoopKumar Rathod, Maula Mere Maula – Molly explained that “Some of you won’t enjoy it, you won’t understand the lyrics but I hope you can feel them.” and that “If I feel it too much it makes me cry,” the song was truly heavenly and really complimented her vocals
• Jade, Angel of my Dreams – Huge crowd pleaser, people really started to get into the groove
• Aaj Ki Raat, Stree 2 – Really upbeat and such a fantastic energy, so much so that the crowd began to conga round the room

Along with a multitude of Western pop and Bollywood classics, Molly performed her original song, A Dream Come True, which she wrote after her first live show in Harrow and “saw the love in her fans’ eyes.” The song was written due to her genuine admiration for her fans. It is clear from the outset of her performance that Molly truly loves her ‘Guppies’.

In February 2024, Molly first went viral when her cover of The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights reached 9.4million views and earned her a spot on BBC Radio One. Greg James described it as “more charismatic than the original” and said it “took it to another level”.

OUTSIDE THE PERFORMANCE

For a third solo show, the technical elements of the performance were pretty good. Though the staging was a table with a MacBook and microphone stand, Molly did a great job at commanding the stage and drawing in her audience. We noticed during some technical issues, where she would plead with her eyes for quite some time towards the technician. We felt like tapping him on the shoulder and pointing, but other than that, the microphone was loud, the music filled the space, and most importantly, the audience were flying.

365 GUPPIE GIRLS

Molly’s fans, Guppies, came from all over the globe to watch her 3rd solo show. Countries include: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Germany, Czech Republic, Malta, Greece, Scotland, Wales and Guppies from across the UK.

Her fans are fun, energetic and bring a great volume to the room. Molly loves for her Guppies to get up and dance and often performs in venues with space for movement.

Shannon, 28, has been a Guppie for about a year after seeing her on TikTok, “I initially liked her ironically, but now I appreciate someone just having a good time and felt a moral responsibility to lift her up during her liveshow.”

As a whole, Molly’s performance was brilliant. We had a great night with a fantastic and energetic crowd, who truly admired and appreciated Molly. Listening to her Bollywood renditions was stellar, and The Tabernacle was the perfect host for Molly’s music.
