REPAIR, REUSE, REPEAT: FIX UP YOUR WELL-LOVED NUDIE JEANS IN SHOREDITCH

Nudie Jeans has launched a new London location in Shoreditch with shelves of jeans, a repair stop, and enough customers in Canadian tuxedos to launch a new consulate too.

The launch was a certifiable success. The shop and the sunny street outside were flowing with well-clad current and future shoppers, and even the mini-concert held by a charming guitarist and singer made what could have been a too-cool event feel communal.

Many patrons at the event told me they felt like the new spot, 9 Club Row, was the perfect location for a Nudie Jeans store.

The streets around Shoreditch High Street overground are far from their days of being ‘cool-in-an-underground’ way, but everyone I spoke to agreed that the area could still use a shop known for its high-quality clothing.

One patron who grew up around the East End told me his granddad used to buy pets from a market on Club Row and bet the jeans in Nudie were more expensive than any of the animals his granddad ever bought questionably legally from the same area just a few decades ago.

In 2025, the shop is close enough to Brick Lane to lure the fashionistas, but far enough away to not have to brand itself as ‘Y-2k.’

They do, however, brand themselves as ‘tomorrow’s vintage’ and at a price point of up to £300 they’re enough of investment to make their wearer hope they’ll remain intact enough to be the vintage of the future.

At the very least, if a Nudie Jeans wearer is in need of a repair, they can now go down to 9 Club Row to get them fixed.

Although the shop is billed as a repair shop, customers should know that as of right now they only repair other Nudie Jeans. The lovely man behind the repair counter assured me he would love to repair other jeans; however, the repair shop is currently only open to prior Nudie customers.

The after party for the shop opening was also a great affair. The bands picked by Nudie to perform were eclectic and fun, and although events which are influencer-heavy can usually make me feel self-conscious, I had a genuinely fun time.
