Sell-out success Zoo Nights is making a comeback this summer – serving up its unique mix of wildlife and city life after-hours every Friday in June and July.

With an array of exciting explorations for night-owls to embark on and more than 18,000 animals to visit, Zoo Nights is the most unique way for grown-ups to celebrate summer in the city this year.

New for 2019, art lovers can practise their creative skills at one of our Wild Workshops: get enthused by emus, inspired by insects and moved by meerkats before creating a mini masterpiece to take home.

Ever wondered why You’ll Never See a Moon-Walking Emu? Discover the strangest animal facts you never thought you needed to know on our new guided tour, while the back-by-popular-demand Birds and the Bees Uncut has our experts help you unravel the mysteries of sex in the animal kingdom.

Feeding time is not just for the animals at ZSL London Zoo – visitors will love browsing the Zoo’s Street Food Festival, where an array of treats will be on offer from London’s finest food vendors, including Indian nibbles, Mexican snacks and delicious desserts.

When the sun finally sets, set up camp with your fellow explorers to listen to some chilled-out music and enjoy live acrobatics in the open air Light Lounge, or if you prefer a more acoustic vibe head for Live and Unplugged over at the Zoo’s BUGS House – both providing an idyllic end to what promises to be a magical evening.

A limited number of Zoo Nights tickets are also available for upgrade to an overnight stay, giving guests the opportunity to sleep within roaring distance of the lions in one of nine, colourfully luxurious cabins nestled in the heart of the Zoo.

Last but not least, to prove Zoo Nights has really got your summer evenings licked, special guests Magnum will be giving away a limited number of free ice-creams each night – on a first come first (soft!) serve basis.

ZSL London Zoo will operate seven tours per evening, with a maximum capacity of 30 places per tour. Led by one of the Zoo’s expert guides, with in-depth knowledge of the animals and their habits, the Zoo and its worldwide conservation work, a premium guided tour is the ideal way to delve deeper into ZSL London Zoo after dark.
