SingEasy: The Musical Theatre Party Review

A THEATRICAL EXTRAVAGANZA AT SINGEASY: A MUST VISIT IN LONDON’S THEATRELAND

Musical theatre lovers rejoice, because wow, do I have a recommendation for you! Behind an unassuming facade in London’s bustling theatreland is a hidden gem known as SingEasy: The Musical Theatre Party. A secret room, located within The Piano Works West End, promises an unforgettable evening like no other. We’re talking incredible entertainment, delectable dining, cocktails, and a late-night happy hour. All sprinkled with the utter joy of Broadway and West End Musical numbers.

Upon arrival at SingEasy, you are greeted by the talented West End performers who also serve as your singing waiters. Alongside a charismatic party host and piano vocalists, they are ready to entertain with their singalong party. Performing until 12am, the fun doesn’t stop there with a DJ taking over for SingEasy Lates until 3am. Playing musical theatre and pop hits extends the party atmosphere into the early hours.

SingEasy isn’t just a show; it’s an invitation for everyone to become part of the front-row experience. The interactive element at SingEasy is a true highlight. The audience are encouraged to request songs from any musical, whether it’s a West End or Broadway. Our playlist ranged from Avenue Q to Mamma Mia, Mean Girls to Six, Chicago to Heathers, Grease to Fame. The possibilities really are endless! And if your chosen tune doesn’t make the cut, fear not, as it will be queued for the SingEasy Lates DJ to play.

One of the highlights of SingEasy is the Musical Theatre Dinner Party. Imagine indulging in a delicious meal whilst being serenaded by industry professionals belting out your favourite show tunes. With a great offer of two courses for £40 I’d recommend trying the Chicken Goujons, followed by the Aged Angus Beef Burger. And sounds ridiculous but you just have to get a side of the creamy mash, it was gorgeous!SingEasy: The Musical Theatre Party Review

To compliment the delicious food, SingEasy offers an array of cocktails. You can go classic with the Pornstar Martini or try something new like the Absolut Berry. Or stick with the theme and get On Wednesdays We Drink Pink or Taste Me or Leave Me. On Wednesdays We Drink Pink has beefeater pink gin, lanique rose, strawberry puree, lemon, raspberries, and prosecco. And Taste Me or Leave Me is tequila, aperol, cointreau, pineapple juice, lime, coconut cream, prosecco, and cherries.

Our evening was expertly hosted by Chris Bartlett, and the bar was tended by Oli Ross. The waitstaff included Daisy Lloyd, Cecilia Järved, Sarah Moore, Alice Abbott, and Melissa Gall. And let’s not forget the musical magic provided by Alan and Ollie on the piano. From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that everyone on the SingEasy team is there to have a blast. And their talent is nothing short of show-stopping, I could not praise them enough!

Dependant on their skill set and voice type, the requested songs were spread across the team. It was a testament to their skills, versatility, and passion for musical theatre that they could seamlessly switch from serving table to delivering captivating performances. What really stood out was the sheer enthusiasm and fun that everyone had. Creating an infectious energy that reverberated throughout the room.

Whether you’re looking for a unique dining experience or a late-night party SingEasy has you covered. The combination of incredible entertainment, delicious food and drinks, late-night options, and audience engagement makes it’s a must visit. SingEasy is not just a dining or party experience, it’s an all-encompassing musical extravaganza! Every member of the team played a pivotal role in crafting what we found an unforgettable night. I’ll definitely be returning, next time for their bottomless brunch option.
