I think restaurants like Prezzo Italian sometimes get unfairly brushed off as “just another chain.” But my recent visit to their Euston branch proved it’s much more than that. If you’re after good food, plenty of choice, and an affordable menu, it’s a great all-rounder. Perfect for catch ups with friends, a family meal, or even a solo dinner. And with their new One Million Pound Giveaway, dining out here comes with an extra slice of excitement.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if there are prawns on the menu, I’m ordering them. Lucky for me, my friend Char is exactly the same! So, when we saw the Over-Baked King Prawns, it was a done deal. We added the Calamari too and shared both. The prawns came in a chilli butter with toasted focaccia on the side (basically an invitation to mop up every last drop). The calamari was nicely crisp with good flavour, though the ‘pestonnaise’ wasn’t for me, I’m not a mayo girlie. Char was happy to polish that off on our behalf.
CARBONARA WITH A TWIST, TENDER BEEF, AND SIDE DIPPING VICTORIES
When it came to mains, I was torn. The Crab & Lobster Ravioli with lobster bisque had my name written all over it. But after some gentle persuasion from our waitress, I went for my other choice: Chicken Spaghetti Carbonara Al Forno. My usual test of any Italian spot is a classic carbonara, so this twist baked with mozzarella and prosciutto sounded like a fun upgrade. It did need a good mix to even out the sauce, but once mixed, it was delicious. Creamy, cheesy, and generous with the chicken and pancetta.
Char went for the Tuscan Beef and Mash, which was melt-in-the-mouth tender in a rich red wine sauce. Naturally, we swapped forkfuls across the table (and both gave the thumbs up). The Warm Focaccia Bread we ordered as a side didn’t last long. We were alternating dunks between the balsamic vinegar it came with, and the sauces on both our dishes.
INDULGENT DESSERTS AND A BILL THAT WON’T LEAVE YOU WINCING
Dessert did give us a giggle. Char ordered the Triple Cooked Nutella Doughnut Balls, which looked like sweet and sour chicken balls (obvs minus the sauce). Don’t worry though, they tasted better than they looked, though she wouldn’t have said no to a bigger pot of Nutella to dip them in. I almost went for the Quadruple Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but the Chocolate Fudge Cake won me over. Minus the Salted Caramel sauce, which they were happy to leave off. Gooey, rich, and served with ice cream, a perfect choice after pasta and prosecco.
Three courses each, a side, plus a bottle of Prosecco came to around £130 including tip. And for central London, I would say that’s pretty affordable. Especially considering we selected some of the boujier dishes. The Euston brand itself has a lovely, relaxed vibe: modern, welcoming, and with background music at the perfect level for a proper chat.
SCRATCH AND WIN: PREZZO ITALIAN ONE MILLION POUND GIVEAWAY

All in all, Prezzo Italian at Euston pleasantly surprised me. It delivers hearty Italian classics, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent value. Would I go back? Absolutely! And judging by how often I was stuck between two dishes, I’ve already got my order planned for next time.
