Despite being a relatively new addition to West End Lane, Heads + Tails has enjoyed acclaim after placing fourteenth at the ‘Top 50 Cocktail Bars’ Award 2019

Since then, the team, lead by industry experts Chris Dennis and Will Partridge, has created a summer cocktail menu which displays the talent and expertise of the bartenders and the strengths of the bar concept itself.
Cool, bright and airy, the ground floor bar Heads embodies the very essence of summer; light, aperitivo-style cocktails and low alcohol serves are foregrounded in a menu which celebrates uncomplicated flavours of berries and citrus fruits, frequently coupled with a smooth gin or vodka base, to be best enjoyed in the foliage-trimmed garden oasis.
New additions to the summer menu include Tinkerbell (£11), an effervescent mix of Belvedere vodka, Merlet crème de poire, Belsazar rosé vermouth and bubbles, and Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri (£9.50), a trendy twist on the ever-loved summer staple, blended with strawberry havana 3 year rum, lime and sugar.
Separated only by a staircase, Tails is the moody sister venue downstairs. Boasting an impressive array of sophisticated short drinks, Tails skilfully incorporates the tastes of summer into powerful blends of rum, bourbon and Scotch.
New additions include Joie de Vivre (£10.50), a potent mix of Hennessy VS Cognac, bittersweet L.N. Mattei cap corpse rouge, absintheroux, chocolate and mace flower bitters, and Highballee (£10), a creative concoction of Monkey Shoulder whisky, Belsazar rosé vermouth, Chambord, lychee, ginger and lemongrass, and soda.

Heads + Tails is the brainchild of industry experts and long-term collaborators Will Partridge (Wax Jambu, Kilburn Ironworks) and Chris Dennis (Sovereign Loss, Disrepute). The pair channelled their wealth of experience in hospitality, bar operations, menu and cocktail design and consulting into cultivating an adeptly balanced sophisticated yet laidback cocktail bar.
The bar is available for private hire and each level boasts its own outdoor area. The larger main garden on the ground floor can accommodate up to 60 people, while the smaller private outdoor area can accommodate up to 15. The verdant wallpaper of the ground floor bar leads the eyes outside and into the sun-trap garden; with leafy walls, cushion-topped seating and a hidden feel, this secluded outdoor space will be an oasis on hot summer days.
