This festive season, The Westin London City is transforming into a breath-taking woodland wonderland. I recently attended the festive preview to see their ‘Christmas in the Woods’ theme, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped into the lobby and saw one of many beautiful Christmas trees throughout the hotel, I was enchanted. During the event we enjoyed some festive canapes whilst sipping champagne and watching carol singers perform the classics. And I had my first mulled wine of the season! The delightful preview was just a glimpse of what’s in store this season, including afternoon tea, a Christmas feasts, and an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration.

Christmas in the Woods Afternoon Tea

Indulge in a magical afternoon tea inspired by the winter forest, featuring:

Sandwiches like Citrus & Dill Mayonnaise Cornish Crab and Roasted Turkey with Cranberries
Woodland themed pastries like Choux Pastry with Blood Orange Custard and Pistachio & Cranberry Cupcakes
It’s not afternoon tea without Plain & Raisin Scones with clotted cream and blackcurrant jam

New Year’s Eve at Hithe+Seek
