This month, The London EDITION, is set to unveil a new series hosted by Sydney Lima, ‘The Monthly Digestif’ – a panel-led pop culture review of the recent headlines and hot topics accompanied by comedians, journalists and artists in the BASEMENT of The London EDITION. Hosted by journalist, presenter and one of the industry’s ‘go-to’ figures for informed opinions across various topics, Sydney Lima is excited to unpack the recent viral moments and trends; ranging from online misogyny to the concept of ‘nepobabies’.
Ready to commence on the 30th May at The London EDITION’s BASEMENT from 7pm, Sydney will be joined by journalist Jon Ronson, comedian Grace Campbell and Vogue columnist & internet funny-man Raven Smith to share their take on the biggest and latest news stories of the month – where nothing is off limits. Those attending the panel will be greeted with a complimentary cocktail courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka Martini ahead of watching the panel debate the various different topics, followed by an invitation to vent and discuss what news headlines and cultural moments have affected them that month.
The next Monthly Digestif instalments will take place on the 13th June and 18th July featuring talent including; comedian Sophie Duker, artist Jake Chapman, journalist Matthew D’Ancona and Academy award-winning producer Odessa Rae.
