The Hottest New Restaurants in London
LOOKING FOR THE BEST NEW SPOTS TO EAT IN LONDON?
Whether you’re a local or a first-time visitor, dining out is one of the greatest things you can do in the city of London. There are tons of new, trendy eateries opening up all over the city pretty much all the time – which is why we’re using this space to give you the rundown on some of our latest favourites. Read on for the best new spots to eat in London!
Bob Bob Cité
This upscale spot is the younger sibling to Soho’s Bob Bob Richard, which is famous in part for the “press for champagne” buttons on its tables (which you may have seen on Instagram). The new Bob Bob is if anything even more luxe than the first, if that’s even possible. Its rooms resemble glitzy 1920s train cars, and the champagne button lives on, with the addition of LEDs to light up your table upon pressing it. Be careful with your bubbles though, as some bottles can cost you over a thousand dollars per pour!
N17 Grill
The N17 Grille is perhaps on the opposite end of the restaurant spectrum from Bob Bob, but the food is still tasty and the atmosphere is awesome. N17 is located in the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Its menu consists of elevated versions of thel burgers and sandwiches people like to eat while watching a match, as well as several vegetarian and vegan options (we have our eyes on the jackfruit BBQ in particular). The restaurant should be getting a lot of attention in the next few months.
Lucknow 49
Lucknow 49 is one of the places we are most excited about opening up recently in London. While it’s primarily an Indian restaurant, it aims to separate itself from other places serving the same cuisine by focusing on recipes from a specific region of India. The dishes served here will all be a part of the Adwahi cuisine, native to the city of Lucknow. This is where the royal, upper-class families moved after the fall of Dehli as the capital of Mughal Empire, and the finest Indian dining moved with them. Needless to say, we’re lucky to now have a taste of Lucknow in London, and it should be an incredible addition to the already exceptional Indian cuisine scene in the city.
Arros QD
This spot was established by Spanish chef Quique Dacosta, who already has four famous restaurants in Spain. This is his first establishment away from his home turf though, and it’s likely to be an immediate success. While the restaurant has a traditional wood-fire stove, it is also implementing some impressive modern cooking technology: The kitchen is equipped with special computers attached to the cooking equipment, allowing for control of every step of the careful process Dacosta uses to prepare his dishes. This makes it difficult to mess up recipes, delicate though they may be, which means meals should come out perfectly just about every time.
If your mouth is watering just from reading these suggestions, you are not alone. Go ahead and reserve a spot now for you and your friends at one of these new, fantastic dining options in London!
