N100: CHEERS TO THE COUNT

Tucked down a secret alley, making me feel ever more exclusive, the N100 Negroni event, hosted by Campari, was the height of luxury and sophistication.
With dramatic mood lighting and multiple bars, the event was a drinkers paradise, the perfect location to celebrate the famous Negroni cocktail. I especially liked the beautiful ring light selfie station at the door. The bright light allowed attendees to take professional selfies of themselves, in order to share their presence at Campari’s event.
In case you didn’t know, the Negroni is a popular Italian cocktail made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel – sounds good right! If you are going for a proper, professionally made Negroni, then the drink is stirred, not shaken, before being strained into a chilled cocktail glass over ice.
In the venue, there were multiple bars set up to allows patrons to sample the various different styles of Negroni. From lychee to bitter lemon, the various flavours allowed for a curious concoction of drinks to be sampled. My personal favourite was the bar that was designed to allow you to mix your own drink, picking flavours that sounded particularly good to you.
The venue itself was bare but brilliant. It allows for a flawless transformation into any setting, whilst still allowing the essence of the venue, and the brand its promoting, to be clearly shown. I personally like the stripped back industrial look and especially the setting that it creates.
The event is dangerous in the amount of free drinks that it offers you. It is easy to lose count, quickly submerging yourself on the beautiful selection of Negronis. All things aside, the bartenders are well focused, watching with vivid attention for when anyone who gets too drunk. Their focus is primarily on the enjoyment of the Negroni, and its celebration ~ 100 years and counting, what a celebration it is!
Through all the pizzazz, and the character and the alcohol, what you’re eventually served with is an event that is bursting with character, professionalism and personality. You could really wish for nothing more when it comes to a brand and their product. A truly remarkable event hosted by a truly remarkable team – sign me up to the next Negroni event!
