Festive cocktails to get you excited for Christmas

It is never too early to start celebrating Christmas and so here’s a round up of some great festive cocktails so you can begin indulging for Christmas! 

Bianco Natale | Quaglino’s
The mixology maestros at Quaglino’s bar have created this special Christmas cocktail for the festive season. Classic, creamy and comforting, Bianco Natale! consists of Cointreau, Cacao white, yellow Chartreuse, lemon juice, egg white, chocolate bitters with a dark chocolate garnish.
Winter Spritz | OSLO
To combat the cold OSLO Hackney has launched a new cocktail menu brimming with seasonal spices and fruity twists. Guests can wile away the cold evenings with the Winter Spritz, consisting Tanqueray Gin, Italicus & Prosecco and combines the comforts of gingerbread syrup with the fresh zing of grapefruit. (£8.50)
Vegan Oat-Nog | Blade
This Oat-Nog from Blade is a vegan twist on the classic festive tipple. Combining Stagg Jr. Bourbon or Foursquare Dominus Rum (choice), Maple Syrup, Vanilla Bitters, Oatly Oat Cream, Oatly Barista Oat Milk, Real Organic Cinnamon and is garnished with a luxury soft date stuffed with pecans.
 
Evergreen | Knight’s Bar at Simpson’s in the Strand
Tucked away upstairs at Simpson’s in the Strand is the Art Deco Knight’s Bar and Head Bartender Harry Brereton and his team have created an ever-changing seasonal cocktail menu, inspired by the allotment. The Evergreen is an aromatic serve of gin, pine, rosemary, birch, lime and English Sparkling wine (£16) and is inspired by the beauty of evergreen forests in the depths of winter.
Crema de Vie | Last Nights of Havana
Last Nights of Havana serves a creamy and warming concoction of the notoriously festive Eggnog cocktail. The Crema de Vie consists Bacardi Ocho Anos Rum, Pistachio syrup, Port and Sherry, topped with Nutmeg and is a suitably rich tipple for the festive season, with plenty of spice and a good kick. Overture | Beaufort Bar 
For a spritz of festive fizz, The Beaufort Bar’s Overture comprises exactly that. With a new cocktail menu that truly distinguishes itself from the iconic American Bar, the menu features a refined signature offering, including grower Champagnes and sparkling wine, expertly prepared mixed drinks, and a well-chosen, in-depth whisky selectionThe beautiful Overture combines Grey Goose Vodka, Cucumber Syrup, Hibiscus Kirsch, Tonic and topped up with Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne. Winter Saison | Alice House 

After a bracing winter’s walk in Queen’s Park head to The Alice House for a warming toddy to keep the winter’s chill at bay. For the festive season, The Alice House will be mulling their own Lemon Saison – brewed at Hop Stuff by the bar’s beer geeks – with winter spices. This warming concoction will be served in a half pint mug and is best enjoyed in the cosy Library Bar.

Skylight Cobbler | Skylight
Skylight’s cosy Christmas cocktail called the Skylight Cobbler will take the chill out of any winter night and is the perfect tipple of choice before skating the night away or getting toasty in one of Skylight’s multiple igloos. Blending Bombay Sapphire, 30et40, Lemon Juice, Peach Syrup, Sugar Syrup and topped off with Plum Bitters, this festive tipple is perfect for sipping on while enjoying London’s iconic skyline. (£9.50
Twist of Fate | Head + Tails
Newly opened in West Hampstead, Heads + Tails is the perfect sophisticated hideaway to enjoy winter cocktails. Upstairs, Heads, is resplendent with a shimmering mirror-backed bar, Art Deco style details and elegant Aperitivo drinks. Downstairs, Tails is a dark and atmospheric drinking den serving rich spirits. A warming wintery tipple on the menu is the Twist of Fate, comprising Wild Turkey Bourbon, with festive ginger and cinnamon syrup, with lighter notes of orange blossom water and lemon. (£10)
