It is traditional to give roses on Valentine’s Day to secret crushes and true loves, but this year Fentimans is turning tradition on its head and suggesting that instead of giving all our love away, we save a bit for ourselves. As part of their ‘Love Yourself’ campaign, Fentimans Rose Lemonade will be partnering with London’s finest blow dry salon, Duck & Dry and the beautiful letter box flower company Bloom & Wild.

Exclusively for Valentine’s Day, Fentimans will be hosting the ‘Love Yourself’ drinks menus at Duck & Dry’s four salons across the capital. TV’s most recognisable bartender, Merlin Griffiths, will be behind the bar at the Oxford Circus Duck & Dry from 12pm-2pm where he will be whipping up Rose Lemonade cocktails from the ‘Love Yourself’ menu. Drinks will include simply served Rose Lemonade, Rose & Bloom Gin and Rose Spritz. The Rose Spritzis a refreshing aperitivo cocktail made with Fentimans Rose Lemonade, simply served in a wine glass filled with ice, topped with Prosecco and garnished with fresh strawberries. This light and effervescent tipple is easy to recreate at home and to share with friends and loved ones this Valentine’s Day.

All of the Duck & Dry venues – Oxford Circus, Chelsea, Soho and Spitalfields – will be dressed for the occasion with exquisite floral decoration designed by Bloom & Wild. The perfect backdrop to a day of pampering. Whether styling effortless waves or transforming tresses into the perfect fishtail, all salongoers will be able sip Rose Lemonade drinks from the dedicated Fentimans Rose Lemonade menu, as well as enjoy bespoke pink, handmade Crosstown Doughnuts while having a blow dry.

On Valentine’s Day morning, commuters at Paddington Train Station will be given Rose Lemonade cans to enjoy on their journey. This will be accompanied by a bespoke Valentine’s Day card that includes a Bloom & Wild discount code and a social media competition to win a year’s subscription of letter box flowers and two free blow dries at Duck & Dry using the hashtag #LoveYourself

Fentimans Rose Lemonade is made with pure rose oil from the world-famous Rose Valley in Kazanlak, Bulgaria and the juice of real lemons. High-quality rose oil gives the Rose Lemonade its distinct flavour which is complemented by the addition of effervescent prosecco in the Rose Spritz. The harvest of the rose petals happens in a narrow window of time, occurring just once a year, and the petals must be picked by hand at sunrise when they are at their most fragrant, with the oil extracted within hours of picking.
