ALL STAR LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR CAMP CARFEST AND RETRO CARFEST 2021

CarFest, the family festival created and hosted by Chris Evans is back for 2021 and has today announced its star studded line up for the Covid Compliant Camp CarFest North, Camp CarFest South and Retro CarFest. Rick Astley, James Bay, Razorlight, James Blunt, McFly, Gabrielle, Soul II Soul, All Saints, Beverley Knight and Kevin Clifton top the music bill for the three-national weekend events. As well as artists appearing on big screens there will be viewing pods in front of the stages so guests can party in style safely. Tickets on sale now at www.carfest.org.

Don’t forget your dancing shoes, as capacities will be reduced and the amount of space increased to ensure social distancing (and grooving) can still take place whilst enjoying the live performances. CarFest North and South has also gathered together some of the country’s top DJs to spin the decks and keep the festival vibes flowing on the Club CarFest Stage’s with performances from Gok Wan, Richard Jones & Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kate Lawler and an epic DJ Battle from top kid’s entertainers Dick and Dom.

In addition to the hottest music line up, foodie lovers prepare to get excited…the kitchen stage at Camp CarFest North and South will be hosting celebrity chefs and bake off winners, as well as Michelin star restaurants delivering a programme of culinary fun. From Candice Brown, Angellica Bell and Atul Kochhar to Melissa Hemsley, Prue & Peta Leith and José Pizarro – the great line up will be cooking up a storm and doing what they do best on the kitchen stage throughout the weekend long event.

Created by Evans in 2012 with the sole purpose of raising funds for UK Children’s charities and over the past nine years has successfully raised over £16million for BBC Children in Need. In 2021 Camp CarFest aims to raise a further £2million for it’s charity partners – BBC Children In Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust.

It has also launched a limited-edition double vinyl album featuring some of the greatest live performances by the CarFest Supergroup. The album is available to pre-order now for £30.00, with all proceeds going to the festivals five UK Children’s Charities. Roger Daltrey, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gary Kemp, Rob Brydon, Sharleen Spiteri, KT Tunstall, Ricky Wilson, Beverley Knight and The Feeling – all feature on the fantastic double album! Curated and produced by Richard Jones from The Feeling, this very personal collection of live performances was recorded across three shows from 2019 and 2018. The double vinyl album features 19 amazing tracks including the iconic 9 to 5, Delilah and I Predict a Riot and comes with a special double CD featuring an additional seven tracks.

Retro CarFest takes place from 18th – 20th June @ Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire

Camp CarFest North takes place from 23rd – 25th July @ Bolesworth Estate in Cheshire

Camp CarFest South takes place from 27th – 29th August @ Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire
