After two sold-out events in 2018 and 2019, Brixton Disco Festival’s 2020 edition promises to be another thrilling instalment. Offering a taste of what can be expected, Brixton Disco Festival makes the first line-up announcement today:

Spearheading the revival of house, disco and electronic soul, Crazy P will be bringing their phenomenal live show to back to South London after a recent sold-out show at Electric Brixton, and on the tails of smash hit new album ‘Age of the Ego’.

Also announced is definitive diva of the dance decade, Jocelyn Brown. Boasting a career spanning five decades, Jocelyn’s impact on contemporary music is unmistakable, with hits including the classic ‘Somebody Else’s Guy’, and ‘Always There’.

John Morales is considered one of true legends of the mix, with his work continuing to be cutting edge and inspiring. The Bronx native will bring the party to Brixton in May.

The Reflex takes his cue from the original remixers, using only the original sounds from the master tapes to rearrange, extend and breathe new life into music, and counts Noel Gallagher amongst his fans. He’ll be on the bill alongside Yorkshire lad Mighty Mouse who has been steadily building a reputation for his eclectic, energetic DJ sets.

Also joining: Rooty Rooftop Party with Tayo & Frank Hope, and local group of classically-trained instrumentalists, Brixton Chamber Orchestra. With many more announced including Yam Who? (Midnight Riot Records), Up On The Roof, and Tropical Disco Records, the countdown is on to the 2020 multi-venue spectacular.

Further headliners, screenings, Q&As and announcements coming in January.
