Calling children who dream of becoming a doctor, all mini Micheangelos and little Leanordo Da Vincis and grown-ups who want to get an even deeper insight into the human body

The UK’s top anatomy museum, BODY WORLDS London boasts a jam-packed schedule for half term, with mind-boggling activities and brain-busting things to do to keep everyone entertained, from the budding mini scientist to Mum and Dad.
Children who dream of becoming a doctor have an extra opportunity to join the ever-popular Junior Doctor tour as an extra date has been added especially for half term. Keen young physicians can don their white lab coats and stethoscopes and get stuck into the coolest science lesson in town on Sunday 20th, Wednesday 23rd or Sunday 27th October.
Run by a medical professional, groups of mini doctors aged 8-14 will get a personal tour of the world-class anatomy museum, having all their burning questions answered and learning about everything from CPR training to taking their blood pressure to how mental wellbeing can affect their physical health. Against the backdrop of the BODY WORLDS plastinates showing the intricacies of what goes on under the skin, this is the most educational, fun and hands-on morning, even graduating at the end with a special Body Worlds certificate.
Calling all mini Micheangelos and little Leanordo Da Vincis for BODY WORLDS London’s Junior Artist Day on Thursday 24th October, where kids are invited along to the museum to study and capture the human form on paper. Children are given free reign to come and get creative, inspired by the beauty of the human body, perfect for a chilled-out learning experience.
The family trail will also be there for little ones to get involved in, as they are led through the museum learning fascinating facts all about anatomy and engaging with the interactive displays such as testing their heart rate, seeing their reflection in the anatomical mirror and exploring the wonders of the human body.
Not content with just providing fun for the little ones, BODY WORLDS London has offerings for parents too, with their monthly London Late landing on Friday 25th October. And, grown-ups can get an even deeper insight into the human body as on Wednesday 23rd October, after using the popular Boditrax body composition scanners, they will have the chance to receive an in-depth professional analysis of their body composition. Guests can then start their health journey following the advice from Boditrax Sports Scientist, Joe Sewell.
