Last seen in London in 2014, the international Cuban sensation Ballet Revolución returns to the Peacock for its fourth season

Having been seen by 850,000 people around the world since 2011, Ballet Revolución is ready to “deliver an endorphin high” (The Guardian) once again with its explosive mixture of ballet, street and contemporary dance. Ballet Revolución comes to Sadler’s Wells’ West End home, the Peacock as part of a world tour from Tuesday 5 – Saturday 23 May.

This exhilarating production features 19 dancers drawn from the most prestigious schools in Cuba, Escuela Nacional de Arte and Escuela Nacional de Ballet. Ballet Revolución returns with new costumes by Jorge Gonzalez, and new choreography by former lead dancer for Cher and original Tap Dog Aaron Cash and Cuban choreographer Roclan Gonzalez Chavez.

Roclan Gonzalez Chavez said: “Cuban dancers move unlike any other dancers in the world… Dancing is pure passion, they speak through their bodies.”

Ballet Revolución will feature a new soundtrack of hits from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Adele, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, J Balvin and Calvin Harris to accompany this audience favourite production.
