THE FIRST OF ITS KIND AT SKYLIGHT, THIS TRULY UNIQUE EVENT WILL COMBINE STUNNING VIEWS AND BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS WITH CRACKING WORLD-CLASS STAND-UP COMEDY

Skylight and The Comedy Store have teamed up to bring the best and brightest talent from the UK comedy circuit to Tobacco Dock for an exciting run of open-air rooftop comedy performances. The first event is taking place on Wednesday 19th May and the line up will include Ria Lina (MC), Zoe Lyons and Hal Cruttenden.

Full table service will be included with every table booked. Delicious cocktails designed by Skylight’s mixologist Sebastian Hollingworth will be available to order, alongside beers, wines and spirits. Food will be available from Hikari offering fresh Asian dishes, and State Side serving up the very best in American inspired indulgence.

For this first event, as social distancing measures will still be in place, guests are able to book a table seating up to 6 people for £90. Skylight Rooftop has a wide array of seating, from outdoor tables equipped with parasols, to outdoor heated tables under the venue’s main pergola.

The Skylight management team have been continuously monitoring government guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic and have worked with a leading health and safety consultant to ensure that the venue is as safe as possible for the guests and the team alike. Skylight has both the ‘We’re Good To Go’ and ‘AIM’ COVID-safe accreditations.

Ria Lina (MC)
Fearless, provocative and very funny, Ria Lina is a highly accomplished comedian, writer, actor and a regular face on TV’s Mock the Week. A hugely admired act on the UK comedy circuit, she commands respect from the moment she walks onstage and delivers with natural ease, energy and fierceness. Ria is the only female Filipina comedian in British stand up and headlines at major clubs in the UK and internationally.

Zoe Lyons
Regarded by her peers as one of the best live comedians to have ever graced the UK circuit, Zoe’s comedic prowess is borne out in her impressive CV. Have I Got News for You, QI, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Live at the Apollo are just the tip of the iceberg. Zoe tours her own shows to great critical acclaim and is even due to host her own quiz show on BBC2.

Hal Cruttenden
Amongst the top touring stand-up comedians working in the UK and Ireland today, Hal is undeniably one of the funniest people out there. His lovable self-effacing rants have brought audiences to their knees all over the world. Multiple appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You and The Royal Variety Performance (to name but a few) have cemented him as a TV favourite.
