London’s Top Venues for Celebrating New Year’s Eve


With only six weeks left of the year it’s time to start thinking about where and how you plan to spend your New Year’s Eve

The Savoy
Famous for its dark opulent interiors, dramatic serves and live performances, The Savoy’s beautiful Beaufort Barwill be offering guests unlimited canapés and Champagne this New Year’s Eve for £250 per person.

The recently launched menu entitled Music, Magic & Drama, both celebrates the hotel bar’s theatrical history and marks its future direction. The menu will elevate the hotel bar experience through a refined signature offering, including grower Champagne and sparkling wine, expertly prepared mixed drinks and a well-chosen, in-depth whisky selection.

To accompany this, a selection of sweet and savoury canapés will be available throughout the evening from Almond macarons foie gras parfait & cranberry jelly and Charred Hertford beetroot fillet & black truffle aioli to Salted caramel rocher with crunchy wafer & hazelnut.

Kaspar’s at The Savoy and Thames Foyer will also be offering guests a spectacular four course meal with a welcome glass of Louis Roederer Brut for £350. 

Whether guests choose to dine in luxury in the beautiful art deco setting of Kaspar’s or the stunning Thames Foyer situated in the very heart of the hotel, diners are promised a truly unforgettable experience this New Year’s.

Examples from the menu include a first plate of Lobster ravioli with vanilla foam and lobster & crab bisque and for the principle plate a choice of Irish black Angus beef filet and Perigord truffle foie gras with black garlic whipped potato and bone marrow or Line caught Turbot supreme with langoustine & clams with Irish dulse and caviar velour.

Skylight Rooftop at Tobacco Dock

Spend New Years Eve at Skylight Rooftop, London’s most imaginative rooftop destination. This New Years Eve, Skylight is hosting a rooftop party over its 3 floors, with ice skating, street food, cocktails and DJs. The venue will not only be in prime position to see some of the city’s most impressive firework displays but will also be screening the official London display across 12 screens

Themed around an urban après skate bar, the three-story East London venue will be continuing its unique seasonal offering into the crisper months with the launch of its new winter season. Skylight plays host to Europe’s only real-ice rooftop ice rink, whilst transporting guests to a wintry wonderland perched above the city with the new-for-2018 cosy igloos and huts.

Heated après skate bars, draped in glimmering lights, will be serving a delicious array of warming winter cocktails, alongside an extensive menu of beers and ciders as well as delicious mulled wine. Tickets start at £30 and include Moet & Chandon champagne on arrival, and Igloos and Huts are also available to book.

Last Nights of Havana

For those looking for some tropical fun, Tobacco Dock’s latest pop-up Last Nights Of Havana will be hosting a very special New Year’s Eve Party, complete with a live jazz band, salsa dancing, live DJs & delicious cocktails. 

Last Nights of Havana‘s pre-revolution party is inspired by 1940s and 50s Havana and evokes a time when rum cocktails, cigars, Cadillacs and unbridled glamour were the order of the day. Expect live entertainment from professional salsa dancers and jazz band Los Habanos by Sambroso Sambroso while feasting on the finest Cuban street food and expertly made rum cocktails. Ticketsstart from £35 & includes a glass of Moët & Chandon and other treats.

OSLO Hackney

This New Years Eve, OSLO in Hackney presents The New Years Eve House Party – a late-night house-party like no other. The East London venue is undergoing a transformation for the biggest party of the year, with each of its three rooms becoming familiar house-party hang-outs.

The Lounge will be hosting Valhalla, with the sofas pushed to the side of the room, the TV is on mute and Dave has brought around his speakers and lighting rig. The DJs will be playing hip-hip, R&B, pop, house and UKG into the early hours.
The Kitchen, famously the hub of any good house party will be in the bar and restaurant area, with the Locomotive DJs serving the best in disco, funk and boogie alongside retro classics.
OSLO’s Green Room is becoming The Garden, guests might think that this is the intimate space to head for some peace, but oh no there’s a party going on out here too! Pop Confessional will be bringing the guilty pleasures and sing along tunes to the yard all night long. Advance tickets available from 16th November for £10.
