Josh Taerk announces Autumn UK shows following release of new album ‘Beautiful Tragedy’

Canadian singer-songwriter Josh Taerk will be returning to UK soil this October to do a selection of live shows. Audiences can not only expect to hear a collection of numbers from his third album ‘Beautiful Tragedy’(set to release on September 28th 2018) but also hits from his back catalogue.

Since his first release, Josh has always found new ways to hone his craft. He’s an artist constantly evolving, looking for ways to improve his writing and playing by paying close attention to the feedback of his peers, fans and critics. It’s this attention to detail and awareness of ability that have allowed him to have such a fulfilling career so far; “Every time I write and record new music I feel like I discover more about myself. It’s like sharpening a blade. With every new release I’m working my craft and refining what I do. I feel like everything I have learned and experienced up until this point has shaped who I am, and that’s where Beautiful Tragedy comes from.”

Taerk writes hook-laden songs and pens literate words that focus on the stuff that makes us all tick” R2 Magazine

‘Beautiful Tragedy’ is the latest in a personal journey from one of the most promising singer-songwriters to date. It’s the soundtrack of self-discovery, a metaphorical handbook for taking each day as it comes. “Everything I have goes into each new song I write, and the biggest reason I write is to connect with people. Music is something that everyone understands and relates to. It’s the rawest expression of who we are, and the best feeling in the world to me is when people make an emotional connection with my music, That’s the end game!”

“He takes over the stage and keeps the audience on their toes by effectively switching the tone between mellow and upbeat”
