FITNESS TAKES FLIGHT: ROOFIT POP-UP SERIES AT AVIARY THIS SUMMER
From yoga and ballet to boxing, take a break from sweaty gyms this summer and venture outdoors to Aviary’s stunning rooftop terrace for the new wellness pop-up series – RooFIT – on selected Thursday and Fridays throughout the summer.
Located between the City and Shoreditch, Aviary is on the 10th floor of the Montcalm Royal London House Hotel in Finsbury Square. Soak up killer panoramic views, whilst shaping up with one of three workouts from world-class fitness brands: triyoga, BXR and En Avant Ballet.
Elongate your muscles and stimulate your mind with En Avant Ballet; get your heart racing and iron pumping with BXR; or improve your inner and outer strength through physical postures and meditation with triyoga.
Each unique class will accommodate up to 25 people and includes a cold pressed juice from PRESS and a goodie bag. Shower facilities and equipment will also be provided. Tickets cost £25 per person from Aviary’s website HERE.
For those wanting a bite to eat post-workout, Aviary will be offering 50% off their breakfast menu (food only) – refuel with classic eggs benedict, omelettes and avocado on toast, providing your body with the nourishment it deserves.

JUNE – triyoga (classes are 45 mins)
triyoga opened its doors on the 19th February, 2000. Founder Jonathan Sattin’s vision was to create the highest quality centre for true well-being, combining three key elements of yoga,pilates + treatments. His philosophy was to offer great teachers and authentic styles of yoga in a gorgeous uplifting environment and that yoga could be for everyone – regardless of age, size, gender, fitness, diet and lifestyle. Today there are six centres located in Soho, Camden, Chelsea, Covent Garden, Shoreditch and Ealing.

BXR classes focus on the main pillars of athletic training; strength & conditioning, skills, cardio and mobility to enable users to address all their exercise needs on one roof. Expect high intensity rounds of boxing, bodyweight exercises and ab drills paired with high-energy music.

AUGUST – En Avant Ballet (classes are 1 hour)
Founded by former Royal Ballet trained dancer and teacher Karis Scarlette in 2015, En Avant Ballet’s mission is to pass on the joy of ballet through adult ballet group classes – a highly focused and empowering form of dance that benefits all areas of your life and wellbeing. From posture and flexibility to muscle strength and co-ordination, classical ballet will enhance your physique, keep your mind stimulated and build your self-confidence. Other benefits include improved stamina and balance, bodily awareness and self-expression, grace and musicality.
