Emerging young UK talent for new musical, Suicide at The Other Palace (17/18 May)

SUICIDE THE MUSICAL RECEIVES NEWLY EXPANDED PERFORMANCES FOR THE OTHER PALACE DEBUT                                 

The Studio, The Other Palace, London  17th and 18th May     

Following on from its successful Edinburgh Fringe Festival run, the musical Suicide is set to receive its West End premiere in a newly reworked and expanded version that transfers to the Studio at London’s The Other Palace on 17th and 18th May.  It has been written, composed and produced by London-born Robert S J Lucas, and directed by Michael Davies for Disclosure Group.

John is a typical man, with a typical job, living his very typical life, but when things start to take a turn for the worse John isn’t sure what to do. Can he continue with a life of deja vu and disappointment or is the only option to end it all once and for all?

Suicide’ is a roller coaster of emotions guaranteed to make you think about the very real modern issue of male suicide, that will have you laughing, crying and counting your lemons.

INTRODUCING THE CAST

A trio of emerging young actors are set to shine in the spotlight on the London stage in the new musical Suicide that’s playing at The Other Palace on 17th and 18th May.

Harlie Sutherland, plays main protagonist John. Harlie has studied musical theatre in Chichester  and has performed in At Home With Earl Carpenter and Hear My Song.

Calum Sivyer, plays Dark Conscience. Having trained at Redroofs Theatre, Calum’s TV and film work includes Harry Potter and the Half Prince, Casualty and Song For Marion.  He is also a professional session musician.

Sherwood Alexander, plays Light Conscience. He’s a musician and mime artist, having trained with Fourth Monkey Theatre Co, and Commedia dell’Arte’s Antonio Fava.
